Eight Masonic Lodges donate $1K to Food Bank of the Albemarle
Eight local Masonic Lodges, members of the 1st Masonic District of
North Carolina, have teamed up to make life easier for the hungry and
needy in local communities. The lodges contributed $1,000 to the Food
Bank of the Albemarle. Their contribution will make it possible for
the Food Bank to provide about 2 1/2 tons of food to feed hungry
residents. The donation is especially appreciated this time of year as
school is out and more families are financially stressed to make up
for the loss of meals provided by the schools.
